This is the place where sanctuary ushers of First Pres Church of Bellevue can exchange ideas, tips, and vision for making the role of usher something that both serves the church community and enriches the lives of the people who are serving.
...we welcome and serve in God's house everyone who enters, in order to facilitate a meaningful worship experience.

Think About It......Click on the picture to read the scripture....
Why did the writer of this passage think it was important to tell you there were 12 baskets left over?
Yep, i think so too. Actually, even more than plenty - I think it's an example of Jesus showing off a bit - it would be enough to make sure the disciples all had their share, but they had more than their share. An entire basket for each. That seems to be more than anyone else got.
Sometimes, I feel a little embarrassed when God blesses me, or when I think that he might want to offer me something more than what i would think would be plenty. Sometimes, I want to say, no, thanks, God - I'm fine, never mind about me. Give it to the next guy.
But then, there He is, offering it to me.....me. And I don't know quite what to do sometimes.
Maybe the writer was saying the provisions Christ makes for those who follow him are plenty.

Does anyone else out there do that kind of thing?
