Yeah, me too.
But you have always come through, even when the tropical breezes are calling your name. And for that, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. This past Holy Week and Easter season was one of our busiest, and one in which more people either tuned in via computer, or dropped in, than ever before. When you met them at the door, your smile was like the sun on an island. Your kind words were like that tropical breeze. Your presence took them from feeling alone to feeling welcomed, and that's a pretty wonderful gift, whatever the season.
So for those who roll off of service for awhile, thank you for a wonderful season. And for you serving through the summer months, thank you for your dedication, being indoors when the sun is out.
If you get that faraway look in your eye for a moment or two, I understand. That island in my mind's eye is probably as gorgeous as the one in yours.
